Job Description:

Need someone that has a passion for Flash and the Flash authoring environment, has experience and has used Flash for application development not just web.

Our client has an immediate need for a Flash Action Script Developer. This position will play a major role in the design and creation of next generation user interfaces for TV interfaces, touch screens, web and PC based applications used in smart homes. Responsibilities: Develop Flash Lite-based user interfaces for TV set-top boxes, personal media players, and other consumer electronics devices. Create clean, object-oriented Action Script that is architected using components and well thought-out libraries. Envision and rapidly prototype in Flash Lite new interfaces for usability analysis.

Job Requirements

  • Flash Lite 2 or 3
  • Strong emphasis on Action Script
  • XML
  • Sockets
  • Another programming language like C++ is helpful but not required
  • BS or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Able to perform well in an agile environment.

  • Experience developing user interfaces for TV set-top boxes, wireless touch screen devices, mobile phones, or kiosks in the consumer electronics field or related.

  • Experience with performance optimizations and tuning of Action Script for embedded environments.

  • Understanding of how Flash Lite interfaces with code written in other languages such as C++.

  • Understanding of Flash Lite, XML, Sockets and how they are used in network communications.
  • Localization and Internationalization of Flash content
