Our client has an immediate need for a Flash Action Script Developer. This position will play a major role in the design and creation of next generation user interfaces for TV interfaces, touch screens, web and PC based applications used in smart homes. Responsibilities: Develop Flash Lite-based user interfaces for TV set-top boxes, personal media players, and other consumer electronics devices. Create clean, object-oriented Action Script that is architected using components and well thought-out libraries. Envision and rapidly prototype in Flash Lite new interfaces for usability analysis.

Experience with performance optimizations and tuning of Action Script for embedded environments.
Understanding of how Flash Lite interfaces with code written in other languages such as C++.
Understanding of Flash Lite, XML, Sockets and how they are used in network communications.

Must be able to work independently and also with project team members.
Must be focused on communicating effectively and have excellent attention to detail.

Job Description:
Targeted Learning is seeking a software developer to help with an existing project. We have previously created an online training course that we need to convert to scorm compliant. The front-end for the existing course is done entirely in Flash. The flash interface uses actionscript code (2.0) to communicate with ruby server side code which then talks to the database. The applicant should have extensive knowledge and experience in complex flash applications, actionscript 2.0, javascript and SCORM. Experience with the Saba LMS and Ruby programming language would also be helpful but is not required. The applicant should be able to work a minimum of 15-20+ hours a week. The project is expected to take approximately 6-8 weeks. Pay is negotiable and depends on experience.
