Job Description:
Need someone that has a passion for Flash and the Flash authoring environment, has experience and has used Flash for application development not just web.
Our client has an immediate need for a Flash Action Script Developer. This position will play a major role in the design and creation of next generation user interfaces for TV interfaces, touch screens, web and PC based applications used in smart homes. Responsibilities: Develop Flash Lite-based user interfaces for TV set-top boxes, personal media players, and other consumer electronics devices. Create clean, object-oriented Action Script that is architected using components and well thought-out libraries. Envision and rapidly prototype in Flash Lite new interfaces for usability analysis.
Job Requirements
- Flash Lite 2 or 3
- Strong emphasis on Action Script
- XML
- Sockets
- Another programming language like C++ is helpful but not required
- BS or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Able to perform well in an agile environment.

Experience developing user interfaces for TV set-top boxes, wireless touch screen devices, mobile phones, or kiosks in the consumer electronics field or related.

Experience with performance optimizations and tuning of Action Script for embedded environments.

Understanding of how Flash Lite interfaces with code written in other languages such as C++.
- Understanding of Flash Lite, XML, Sockets and how they are used in network communications.
- Localization and Internationalization of Flash content
